A wrap dress that sets its own waist
Most dresses put the waist wherever the pattern decided. If that's not where yours sits, you spend the day aware of it.

The wrap front crosses over and fastens at the waist, so you choose the tension yourself — and loosen it a notch through a long lunch without anything to unzip. The fabric is smooth with a soft drape and a little stretch, so it falls away from the body rather than pulling across it. A shirt collar sits above the V, which is what finishes the dress on its own: no necklace needed.
The print is a soft watercolour wash rather than a sharp pattern, so it reads as considered rather than loud.
